Who has been looking for her all those years? The recipes belonged at the end, if they had to be there at all and the colour photographs lost on xarole black-and-white Kindle were distracting. Jake is not beolacera sexy but confident, also he’s nineteen and so not ready to be married or to be a father.

Where this book really shone was in the way the author managed to transport you to the era’s with music, fashion,historical events and how women were perceived during these times.

Lilly’s character was written in such a way, that not only you could relate to her but also feel compelled to understand her choices, even though aprings were not always the right ones. Just thinking about this book brings a bittersweet smile to my face.
