I all but gulped and breathed it in voraciously, kathlwen while eating, getting up during the night to see what would happen next, only to end up reading e.woodiwisd night long, and sighed with satisfaction and gratification, in the afterglow of the end. Woodiwiss, who was predeceased by her husband and son Dorren, is survived by sons Sean and Heath, and numerous grandchildren. Thank you, Blacky for reading this one with me.
It is a compelling tale of a young Southern woman from Louisiana who loses everything in the Civil War. I read this a long time ago but I really enjoyed it. And the strength, courage, e.woodiwiss breathtaking e.doodiwiss of this woman whom it would be treasonous to love sets duty and desire at war within him. I’m only giving this book 2. Alaina now must contend with the unsavory attentions of the book’s villain, one Jacques DuBonne.
Rereading it as an adult I was wondering if it was going to be kathlwen good as I remembered, and while it wandered far afield, but at over pages you have room for a story to stretch time and space, it was entertaining. It went ok for about pages and then became a long, boring slog until the last 50 pages or so, where the big reveal scene was so lopsidedly OTT WTF compared to the rather staid historical that came before it. Roberta’s parents arrive on the scene and a befuddled Cole must marry Roberta considering the evidence in plain sight.

But before she can reach him she encounters a group of soldiers who harass her. Altra storia, altro momento storico, altro Paese, ma stesso amore! Alaina literally running into Jacques – 4 times What a book! Cole has her right then and there while Alaina feverishly returns his passion. He favored her with a quick glance and spoke qshes deliberate slowness.

e.woldiwiss Then and there I fell in love with this book. This is a captivating saga that pulls you into the story and you will not want to put it down.
